They may be narrow compared to other shoes, but they are great for us because we are slim. My daughter LOVES these shoes! They are well made and very comfortable for her. She walks well in it and has a little room to grow which is what I expected for the size I bought. She doesn't wear many Mary Janes from other stores so I was very glad she likes them as they are very demanding on comfort. win/win!
