I bought this cable to wire my house to ethernet as part of an expansion we were doing. I also took the opportunity to upgrade our CAT 5e to CAT 6 throughout the house. I ended up running about 11 wires to various locations around the house, using up quite a bit of the 1000 foot reel. I've used some of these to make shorter cables to connect my computer, server, router, switch, etc. Everything seems to work really well and there is a noticeable improvement in transfer speeds. I am very satisfied with the price and performance.
