Review on Outdoor Daylight Equivalent Lumens Sensor by Priscilla Roque

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The light didn't come on.

Hired an assistant to pull out an old lightbulb from a street lamp that no longer worked. Installed one of those "Dusk Till Dawn" lightbulbs. Walked in with no problem. However, the light didn't come on at all. We pulled on a very heavy black sherpa jacket to protect from daylight on a cloudy day on November 20th in western New York. switch turned on. No light. I tested the light with a conventional LED light bulb that was temporarily removed from a working light. Bought a new bulb (100w equivalent), installed a new bulb. It worked right away. I don't have the patience to "tinker" with a seller/manufacturer to see if a new pack of lightbulbs will work. Need to hire someone to climb the ladder as I can't at the moment. Too much cost/effort to "test the product" which is the problem with the bulb. I am returning a pack of 4 bulbs to Revain for a refund. I have a twilight light sensor from a typical local hardware store. Its problem is that it never turns off. Well, these LED lights use so little power that I just leave them on 24/7. This is a garage exterior light. The garage is some distance from the house. So this light is "on" 24/7. I would leave this Revain light if its sensor didn't work and "the light was always on". Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this lamp at all. I am sorry.
