I've searched everywhere for a case big enough to fit my New Nintendo 3DS XL **and** the Black Crystal Case grip on the inside . Luckily I found this ProCase on Revain after quite a long search! There is enough space on the top and sides to be safe but not to swim in the hull. Even if you put more games or accessories inside (it has multiple compartments), it won't get crowded. FYI, my 3DS XL with grip measures 7" x 4.5" x 1.5". You probably won't want to throw it down the stairs or do anything crazy, but it will protect your system from more than just wear and tear. Scratches when put in a backpack or something on the go.Material and zip seems to be of decent quality.fingers crossed it holds up over time.
