I bought a bowl of whale oil. I love it! It's huge, which is perfect for butter and butter sticks. I like the "whale bone" size marking on the plate. So pretty. The story really helps grab it without trying to grab the lid, which always seems to cause problems with other dishes. And the spout as a handle for the lid just makes sense. I bought a plate from Dowan a few months ago but my daughter knocked it over and broke it. I knew I would replace it with Dowan ceramic. As soon as I saw the whale, I fell in love with it. I am very happy that I received it.
