Bright as can be, but internal logic is troublesome

These are awesomely bright, but the "internal logic" chip that allows them to flash is a problem if you are trying to use them as a "instant on" light. They take about .5 to .75 of a second to light up when powered up, as the logic tries to figure out what flash pattern you have selected. It doesn't matter if you have them constant on, or "strobe" there's a .5 to .75 delay. As a extra brake light, they are problematic due to the 'delay'. As a turn signal flasher they fail 100%. The turn signal "pulse" isn't long enough for the internal circuit to figure out what flash/on pattern to use, so they simply never light up at all.As long as you're aware of the limitations, it's a good product. It could be GREAT if they can figure out how to fix the DELAY problem.

Pros
  • Works great. Eze to wire up. But the plastic bezel is Eze to break and no way to order another.
Cons
  • Might not be durable enough for extended use in harsh environments
