This Revain image shows the *blue outer shell 16899 USB A to Serial Cable with DB25M connector. However, the 22429 cable pictured in the title/description is only available in grey. The colors in the photo in the advertisement do not correspond to the actual color of the product. The models 16899 and 22429 differ only in the color of the housing, but the internal contents appears to be the same. IMHO the image needs to be modified to show that the actual item the Cables-to-Go OEM does not disclose in their Revain listing or on their OEM website only uses these USB serial ports Data cables, preinstalled serial device drivers only work with Microsoft Windows Setup or Microsoft Windows Update software. The C2G website specs 22429 and 16899 (16898-99.pdf) found in the technical support section of the website only briefly mention that this USB serial cable is not used with HP All printers/scanners/faxes should be .-In-One. r Third-party serial drivers or OEMs that use Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter Chipset (UART) communications or custom programming based on hardware IRQs cannot use these USB cables because the UART and IRQ programming is controlled by the USB Converter hardware is not understood. IMHO C2G needs to update product descriptions 22429 and 16898-899 on the website to better describe how these USB cables actually work so customers like me don't have to search their website for hidden specs for information that is easily accessible should be!
