I was looking for an under seat size that would fit a change of clothes, pajamas, camera gear, a tablet and 2 batteries for POCs and medication. Booked for a 2 week trip to Europe but wanted to be without big bags 2 days before and 2 days after the river cruise. It fits the bill, almost perfectly as I'm not sure if it actually fits under the seat or not, maybe a bit too thick but it's great for lifting overhead (for 80 year olds). Also, we fly business class to Europe, so there's no under-seat storage anyway. Bottom line, that's pretty much what I was looking for. I also wanted something rolling for easier access to the gate. We use wheelchairs or golf carts; but it's easier for assistants to deal with. Also, you don't need to carry a handbag; plenty of room for cash, passport, credit cards, phone etc. I pack the bag at destination but the extra part is not needed in the cabin.
