Review on TPA3116D2 Subwoofer Full Frequency Switchable Amplifiers by Danielle Thompson

I recently added a 10 inch passive outdoor subwoofer to my backyard sound system and needed an amplifier to power it. I wanted one with a physical power button as I use a voice controlled smart plug from Alexa to turn both the receiver and subwoofer amp on and off. It worked great and the small size didn't take up much space when everything was organized. I like the frequency and volume controls on the subwoofer, and I only know the volume from 1/4 to 1/3 otherwise the base in my setup is overwhelming. My only complaint with this subwoofer amp is that I hear a noticeable subwoofer thump when I turn it off. I've tried changing the on/off order between the amp and receiver and adding delays, but the bump is still there. (I've read reviews of other devices that specifically said they don't, but I didn't understand what it did and how big the problem would be.) I'm hoping I can find a solution because my dog walks a little crazy. when he hears it. I deducted 1 star because of the volume.
