I don't write many Revain reviews and most of them are about exceptionally good products. Unfortunately, this review will end this series. I bought these to replace my Cowin E7 wireless headset in December 2020. There was nothing wrong with the E7, except that the soft parts were worn: the ear pads are worn and falling out, and that's the final straw. was when the headband came loose from the frame. But both they and their E7 predecessors have served me well for almost two years each. I should have stayed with them. I have had three pairs of Sennheiser since 2011: RS-120 (I replaced the HDR-120 headset in 2014). ) and RS-170 in 2015. In 2017 I couldn't find a suitable Sennheiser replacement at a price I liked, so I bought a cheap ($50) Cowin E7, which got pretty good reviews. Two years later, in 2019, I replaced it with a newer E7 model which, as I said, I enjoyed with complete satisfaction until December of last year. - More importantly, they eliminated that big, heavy charging dock, which was a bit of a hassle. So I bet my $97 - it was on sale - on the HD-350BT. From the start I wasn't entirely satisfied. The controls were tiny and easy to "cramme," and the tiny manual - one of those picture books obviously designed to save pennies on localization - was useless. But I managed to figure out the control circuit (but lo and behold I always plugged it into the power supply when I wasn't wearing it. It was VERY annoying and there was no obvious way to disable this 'feature'. Hello. ?!?But I found that if you press the power button for about a second it wakes up again so ok.More recently it has started to disconnect from the desktop.Sometimes in the middle of an event where I've used it.When you're watching a DVD, there's not much more annoying than dropping that out in the middle of a conversation, followed by a candy-sweet "Disconnected!" announcement, and then having to poke around to fix it, turning it back on didn't help only thing that worked was opening "Settings" and then "Devices" so you could unplug and plug back in the device (which windows obviously still kept plugged in), but to be honest n, the sound quality is poor compared to the previous Sennheisers I've owned and even the cheap Cowin E7 models. The tremendous noise figure is very noticeable, and often there is some uncertainty in the audio that desynchronizes it with the on-screen action. I've seen it on BDs, DVDs, streaming videos and MP4s that I've played on my own hardware. I have no idea what happened to Sennheiser. They used to put out a high quality product that cost a premium price. No longer! :-( I'm throwing that model away and replacing it with a Logitech. They had their own issues, but I'm still using a Logitech K800 wireless keyboard I bought in 2016. Let's see! Unrated Ease of use: poor value for money -Ratio: bad Overall rating: average minus.
