Heavy Duty Wellington Boot

Poetic TurtleSkin Rugged Case for iPad Pro 10.5 with Reinforced Protection Silicone Pen Holder Sound Boost Function with Portable Tablet Stand for Apple iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) Black Thick silicone case adds weight to the iPad, but it's not as heavy as my previous Otterbox iPad case. It certainly seems durable. If it falls, my iPad is well protected from all sides, however, it doesn't protect the Apple Pencil very well if it falls on its back. The power and volume buttons are closed but are easy to press. Pressing the home button is a little frustrating because the case is so thick on the front - the part covering the front of the iPad is so high that I sometimes have trouble pressing the home button. I have attached two comparison pictures. One of these has me pressing the home button at the angle it takes to press it, and the second at the angle you would normally press the home button if the case is thinner in the front. This will definitely annoy those with long [acrylic] nails. Also, I use the iPad primarily for drawing, so the thickness of the front panel sometimes becomes an issue/nuisance when trying to position my wrist. I'm more concerned about protecting my iPad, so I need to deal with this issue. pen holder is good. The Apple Pen slides in easily and the silicone ring keeps it firmly in place. I don't have to worry about it suddenly falling off when I'm walking around with my iPad. I find that if your pen has a leather/protective case the pen will not fit in the ring as it fits fine anyway. I recommend having a holder to attach the cap to the pen. Also, I had a little trouble inserting the stylus into the iPad. The case is so thick that I could feel it pressing down on the pen head when inserted at a slight angle. This is not the way I charge the Apple Pen with my iPad. Instead I use a cable. The included stand works as it should. Notches on the stand allow you to view your iPad at different angles. So far I haven't had any problems with it. Cosmetically, I'm not thrilled with how the front of the iPad looks in a case. Four corners are so closed that it seems unattractive to me. I don't like how it ruins the white around the iPad. In addition, due to the material, it easily attracts fluff, dust and dirt. Overall, it looks like a very durable silicone case. Good for on-the-go protection, if multiple people use your device every day, or if you frequently drop your iPad. However, if you care more about a user-friendly design, there might be a better option at the risk of reducing protection. I would rate the comfort of this case 8 out of 10.
