Great product at a decent price. I bought this to connect my gaming PC to my living room TV, both of which are basically in the same room but facing each other. I needed a long cord so I wouldn't have to deal with a shorter cord lying on the floor crossing my living room, getting tangled in things, or being gnawed at by my cats. I bought this device partly because I wanted to maximize picture quality on my Samsung 4K TV with HDR. This requires an HDMI 2.0 cable with a bandwidth of 18Gbps, otherwise I get sub-60Hz temporal resolution and/or sub-4K pixel resolution. I've used an HDMI cable that didn't meet these specs in the past and as a result the picture quality was less than stellar, as were numerous issues trying to get HDR to work in the first place. 4K at 60Hz is no problem with this cable and I'm sure HDR w could work just fine if HDR itself wasn't such a jumble of competing standards. It's funny that it takes so much research to find reliable information about resolutions, refresh rates, and HDR availability, and that all of these things can depend entirely on the cable (if every component meets specs and the cable doesn't). ), or each of your components could theoretically be spec incompatible. Figuring out how to get 4K @ 60Hz with HDR reasonably is a real nightmare, but I can be sure the cable won't be the root of the problem because this cable is just the thing to deliver that signal.
