This product has the potential to be great, but is currently a bit of a mess.

This product has the potential to be great, but is currently a bit of a mess. I'm working on a project where I have to input financial information daily. At first I tried using the built in excel function to input my transactions, but it was cumbersome and slow. So I decided to use the libre office calc instead. Now it took me a couple of hours to figure out how to input my transactions into the excel format, so I gave up on it. A few weeks later, I stumbled across a blog post about importing.csv files into libreoffice calc. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it and import my file. Now it's taking a whole day to enter my transactions and if I miss one transaction, it creates two new ones in the same cell. I don't know if it's because of the formatting I did or if it's just something that needs to be addressed. But for now, it's not really usable. If I ever decide to move away from excel (which I probably won't), it will be worth checking out again. Otherwise, there's not much reason to use it over Excel.
