Review on Enhance Phone Notifications with Krown Phone Flasher (LED) by Chantel Dickinson

serviceable device, but the brightness is not always enough

With incoming calls to a landline phone, this thing flashes a bright cool white light. It doesn't make any noise itself, but it works whether the phone's ringer is on or not. It emits quick pulses to the beat of the phone's own ringer, rather than the slow on/off flashes I was expecting (see attached video review - I had the ringer turned off in this video clip). how bright is it In fact, he's lighter than him. see in my video clip. Not as bright as a camera flash, but looking directly into it is almost uncomfortable. If you look at it when someone calls, you can't miss it. If you turn away from him, you will be notified by pulses of light bouncing off the walls. However, during the day, on a clear day, its brightness can be barely noticeable if you turn away from it. The packaging says "newly improved 180 degree dome coverage and super bright 10Cd (candela) LED". A wide beam of light is a good idea, but it's just not always bright enough during the day. Just my experience, yours may vary, for someone it may well be sufficient. It's a good idea to try throwing the light in different directions (and possibly positioning it higher) to see which orientation gives the best visibility. By the way, the description says it needs at least 75V to work properly, it's not clear if that means the mains voltage or the higher ringing voltage. My phone line is about 50V when not ringing. It's very simple - no buttons or switches, no on/off switch, you just plug it into your phone. Too expensive for such a simple device. Brightness boost or self-regulating brightness (brighter during the day) would be an improvement. The ability to flash other colors would be even better (attracts more attention). However, it is a useful helper for any landline when you want to "see" a phone conversation.
