Right out of the box I was blown away by the size of this coaster compared to the small coasters I've bought and ended up having abandoned because it was poorly manufactured components or simply unusable. This stand fits both my wife's iPad Air and my Samsung Mega Phone. The grips expand to grip the iPad just as easily as my phone. The stands are also a few inches taller, which I consider an ergonomic bonus. The stand allows you to tilt up and down BUT it also allows side to side movement as well as portrait to landscape rotation. The base is very strong and stable. The only problem I see is hiding it from my wife.
