Review on Lumax LX 1901 Multi Purpose Lithium Cartridge by Scott Morris

I was a bit hesitant at first when trying this product but it was all I had in my refill box so I used it. It turns out that lithium grease is still lithium grease, no matter what color it is. I needed to lubricate the bearings on the cutterblock on my 25 year old McClane/Briggs machine. I have since used it on my tractor and most recently submerged and oiled the front of my 2000, 200,000. Mile S-10 work truck. This is where my lubrication ended. I was thrilled to see that Amazon was selling this product and it was about the cheapest lithium cartridges you can find for small custom grease guns. I have full-size grease guns and larger cartridges are more economical, but I always use a small pistol for smaller jobs and of course hard-to-reach areas. I'm just a businessman who likes to get things done but my hobby has literally saved me tens of thousands of dollars over the past 30 years and I've tried everything at least once, yes that too! I would definitely choose this product over the smaller refill cartridges from more expensive brands. In fact, now I'm going out and finishing this S-10 lube job, and tomorrow I'll be working on my Silverado. A little lithium goes a long way, and it's a lot cheaper to get your hands dirty than it is to spend a lot of money on something that would probably last forever if you did a little preventive maintenance.
