These heatsinks differ from others in that the thermal pads are not pre-applied but are included separately. I've seen some pre-applied pads that looked like the person wearing them was blind, drunk and in a dark room. Double-sided thermal foil is cut exactly to the size of the radiator. Make sure the printout is facing up, but that might not matter. After removing the second layer of paper and placing the heatsinks on top of the chip, I applied light finger pressure for about 20 seconds to ensure a secure fit. Definitely recommend.
