Weebles wobbles but doesn't fall

This is an adjustable tube harp - you know what I used it for! The adjustment is a little painful. There are tiny screws you need to loosen, but not too much or they will fall out and be hard to find. Then you can customize. But you need to tighten the small screws so that the adjustment doesn't happen by itself. By tiny I mean the size of the glasses but without a slit so you do it with your fingers. The hole screwed onto the lamp is too big. Typically the harp has a hole large enough to fit over the internal threaded rod and stay in between anything that screws on above or below the harp. Not this harp. This harp has a larger hole. That might be convenient for some, but with my lamp it means that the gentle, gentle breeze from the HVAC system determines whether the harp and lampshade tilt to the right or left. If I get it right, I can align it briefly.
