Review on SAMSUNG LS24A400VENXZA Computer Microphone: Adjustable, 💻 High Resolution, IPS Display and Built-In Speakers by Dominic Pentapati

Having had many Samsung monitors over the years, I really liked the idea of having a monitor with an integrated camera, microphone and speakers. The monitor function itself is excellent, 5 stars, no complaints. The camera has a slightly lower resolution than my laptop's camera, but it's certainly good enough for Zoom or Microsoft Teams meetings. Despite having a built-in microphone, the sound was described to me as "tinny", like speaking down a long hallway. I tried all sorts of microphone settings, but nothing could achieve the same clarity of sound as a headset or even a video camera with a clip. The speakers are very unassuming, even compared to standard $15 PC speakers. Overall, this is a great MONITOR with a decent video camera, but the poor mic and underwhelming speakers offer much less utility than I was hoping for.
