I have an AsRock Steel Legend B550m and it comes with a limited amount of USB sockets, I needed 2 more to plug in my lighting node and also a fan hub to keep everything organized. It was the perfect solution! It was literally plug and play for me. You also have the option to snap two boards apart if you don't need them and they come with double-sided mounting tape. Small enough that you can easily place it anywhere. I have a 280x case and was able to fit it in the back next to the hard drive space!
