Used to extend USB port to add Bluetooth power to WiFi card. It helped without additional drivers. However, there are white LEDs on the board that glow when your computer is off but the power button on the back is on. I installed it under the hard drive tray to block out those lights. I'm sure duct tape would work too

My Asus TUF Z490 has a full (dual channel) USB 2.0 port and a half (single channel) USB 2.0 port. This motherboard was an upgrade and my old motherboard had four full (dual channel) USB 2.0 ports. I had to plug in my AiO CPU cooler, USB 2.0 ports on the front of the case, my Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card and my "Leech remote power relay thingy" - now I have free ports.

It does exactly what I need - expands my internal USB ports. However, the adhesive tape glued to the back of the mounting board is very thick. I was thinking of mounting on the back of the motherboard tray, but that extra thickness would be a problem when a USB plug is inserted and trying to close the back panel.
