These stockings are exactly as they appear a very beautiful and sexy sheen giving great eye appeal. Two problems, they did not have much compression value at all and one leg (?) the silicone strips at top did not hold so it slipped down to my knee cap. I also bought in beige and the beige were worse. Very sheer and as I said lovely like a fine nylon but because they were like a fine nylon stocking they did eventually have a run. So depending what you are looking for hope this review helps. If you want compression you may have a hard time finding one that you can deal with that feels good. This stocking felt wonderful, looked great and the price was fair for something a bit unusual with the shimmery shine, but compression, "No". Really pretty though and felt like a dream without the compression need I would have give them a 5 star for all else.
