My replacement Arctic Silver 5 paste outperformed this paste and that speaks volumes. I'd like to invest in Kryonaut instead, which is my usual CPU/GPU solution. I decided to give Noctua a try and while I agree with many people that Noctua is a great cooling brand, particularly their case and heatsink fans, this paste just didn't meet my minimum expectations. Overclocked to 5GHz on my 9900K @ 1.27 vw/ and a load line calibrated to 62.5% (LLC3 in MSI UEFI) this paste ran for about 35 seconds at idle and ramped up to 92 seconds under load. I repasted it 3 times for consistency and each time it ran within error. Arctic Silver 5 with identical settings idling at 30Β°C and never exceeding 82Β°C under full load. Arctic Silver 5 is also about 50% cheaper depending on where you buy it. Of course I won't be using Noctua thermal paste anymore, but your results may vary.
