I have been using tiles for a number of years now. I consider them an important product because I can be a bit forgetful, lose sight of small (or not so) things. So being able to find your keys, wallet, purse or whatever helps a lot. It works pretty cool: you place a tile on an object you're afraid of losing, then download the tile app. on your phone. Your phone regularly tracks and tracks tile objects. Then when you tell the app to find your item, it tries to connect to it via Bluetooth. If it can connect, it does so and plays a sound to help you find it. If it can't connect, it will show you where (on the map) it was last able to connect to it. So, for example, if you left it at work and are now at home, you know you left it. at work. Pretty neat! However, this year this product has definitely gotten worse. Now if you try to find an object you said earlier in the day and it's not nearby and you try to find it, it will tell you where it was a month ago or something like that. Now it's practically useless for a really useful use case. Now this is still very useful for locating things nearby, but when it's not nearby it's no longer useful.
