I have a dachshund, she is disabled and cannot walk on her hind legs. This dog life jacket is so great - now he can swim and keep his hind legs taut! She loves it! I'd take the advice to increase the size if your pet is around - just because the bars are right under their armpits and using them in the longest position tends to rub on their little elbows more. Probably just a problem with a short leg :) Other than that, it's great! She even "fell" off the steps into the pool and easily recovered on her own!
