Trash. Even upon opening, the socket on the stand was very loose and fell out of the cooling pad when I tried to pull out the cable. It was very difficult to pull the cable and hold the socket without breaking. I tried holding it in place with super glue but it stopped working when I tried to plug it back in because I had to pull and push so much on the connector and internal cables that it had snapped by then . Their return policy was refreshingly complicated and would require congressional action to get my money back, so I gave up on my last resort. I wouldn't even use it to support my desk.
