Review on Sensor Brite Wireless Sub Zero Resistant by Felicia Arnold

Three sets of batteries changed in two weeks

I bought this for our fridge because the light in our fridge has stopped working and it's an old fridge that we can't fix. First, there isn't as much light as I would have expected from a small fridge. Dark areas are still attached at the top next to the light box of the refrigerator. Second, and more importantly, we've used three sets of AA batteries (six total) since installing it two weeks ago. Considering the flashlight is only used for about 30 seconds at a time, my guess is that each set of batteries lasted *probably* 20 minutes. It's generous. I hate that we produce waste that is difficult to dispose of and this light itself is made of plastic which obviously won't last long. It doesn't save energy in any way. This is my third week of owning this light and the third set of batteries I keep going back just because we really need a fridge light! When the light issue first started, we placed a dollar store light ($1) as a temporary light source, and it outlasted this motion sensor light ($15). The packaging says 20,000 hours of light. It appears to be several thousand hours behind. I am very disappointed in this product and do not recommend it. The only star I give this product is like the attendance rating you give a student when they show up for class, even if you've been watching them sleep the whole time.
