Comfortable but uncomfortable for long walks
For my 14kg cat. It's comfortable for me and allows my cat to sit and watch or lie down as she prefers. I have easy access to my cat during transport and the mesh protects her. (She makes no serious effort to escape, so I can't say how well she would have kept them if she had). the lower back becomes very uncomfortable. To do this, you will need some sort of belt or counterweight to more evenly distribute the pet's weight.
