I like them so far

I've always heard of dry-balls, but I've never used them personally. I'm a little old fashioned and stuck with what has always worked for me. I thought I'd branch out and try this. I always try to avoid chemicals and artificial ingredients whenever I can, so I liked the idea that I could toss them in the dryer with my clothes instead of using the lint dryer sheets I've always used. Allegedly, dryer sheets can be a bit controversial, with some people saying the chemicals that make them up aren't good for you. They are 100% wool and contain no chemical additives, so they may be healthier. I have used them 3 times and so far I have to say that I see no difference in the quality of my laundry when I use them and when I use the dryer sheets. That is a good thing. That means they work and do a good job of removing the lint on my clothes and preventing wrinkles. As for drying time being cut in half, I didn't notice much of a difference. I don't care about that aspect anyway, as my main concern is to find a healthier and more effective alternative to dryer sheets. I like to hear them when they're in the dryer because they make a soft thump. Nothing particularly flashy or loud. Somehow it sounds reassuring.

Pros
  • BEST USE: Use 3-4 dryer balls for light to medium washes and 5-6 balls for larger washes in the dryer with the laundry during the drying cycle. Try putting a few drops of essential oil right into your dryer balls to add some scent to your laundry!
Cons
  • Crumpled
