We needed bedding for a young girl who is about to join our family. She will be living in a bedroom that already has a white duvet, so we decided that when we make her bed we'll try to match the duvets. This white duvet is very cozy with a silky microfiber lining held in place by interrupted stitching. It's not heavy, but comfortable all year round because it's lighter. It arrived in a medium sized ziplock bag and was shrink wrapped. Air it in the dryer and leave it outside so it can relax and look beautiful on the bed. It's very simple, down to the boho pom pom embellishment. There is a standard size pillowcase with a zipper and pom pom trim. It's not a thick fabric or lined like a duvet, so I use it to wear longer, as a throw pillow, not a sleeping pillow. The quality of the pillowcase fabric is the only thing that disappointed me about this set. It's easy to clean - machine wash in cold water on low temperature and hang dry. The plain color and the simple design offer a lot of space for decoration. If desired, replacing pillows with new colors every season does not take a lot of money and time. It's a lot cheaper to replace a few throw pillows than to buy all new bedding sets. Rather than feeling like she's only getting all the bedding that we could get for her, I think the young lady will feel like the accommodation was made just for her. We hope she feels welcome and knows she is special to us.
