First, when I opened it it looked a lot cheaper than the original console I replaced; Parts of the seams were loose and uneven. Then the bolts were not the same size as the original set of bolts. And after I installed it I closed the console and had to slam it to close it and then to open it I had to press really hard and then press the release button. Upon closing and opening it several times, I noticed that the notch that kept the console closed was already bent due to cheap quality. So I had to take it off, remove all the plastic and put in the original console parts I was able to salvage. The only part of this console cover that I used was the new "skin". I recommend simply removing the console cover and having your local shop replace it.
