Review on πŸ•οΈ Kelty Airlift Camping Tent by Nick Colton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not the problem I thought.

This tent became a revelation. It's so quick and easy to set up. It's huge, the lobby is big and works very well. I've used it on two week-long trips this summer and was most impressed with the legless inflatable tent. Until it started raining. When it rains, the porch ceiling doesn't have enough canopy angles to spill water. The extensions are stretched on each side, but the middle "comb" always sags a bit no matter what you do. In the dry state it did not matter, in the vestibule it was not very noticeable. When it rains, it fills with water and destroys the lobby, soaking all the gear you were keeping safe and dry in your lobby. We got everything soaked, shoes, down jackets, backpacks, guitar etc. I returned it still wet for a refund. It's a shame because this air system is truly amazing. I wish they had a better "cutout" for shedding water. If they fix this problem I will buy more. However, I'm still a little frustrated with my guitar.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Periodicity
