This is salvation! And save me from such pain! I wear it alone or under a bandage that I wear when my thumb tendon is very sore. This is my second order. I lost the last ones. After ordering I found one of these. Was still glad to have more. I trimmed it down a bit on my wrist to allow my Apple Watch to come in contact with my skin. With this brand or another, people have said they have a small tear at the top of the thumb, which I did with mine, but only after a month of constant use. I also cut off a few millimeters because I have short thumbs. .Maybe the cut left it without the protected edge it should have been. However, if it starts to crack, I'd probably just cut it off if it was under the crack. They didn't stay white all the time. Maybe I used something that colored it. Still, I'll wear it anyway because it helps. I have seen other brands that were much more expensive. This is the only brand I have tried. I stay with this brand. Even if I had to order again in a month or two, the cost isn't that great and they help so well I think it's money well spent!
