I really wanted this remedy to be liked and maybe it would work on YOUR pet. However, this got worse with my dog. I have a pug with IBD and he had a pretty bad attack. I had really good luck with the plain Elm (which is in this one) but wanted something stronger so I gave it a shot. My dog ended up with severe diarrhea. I stopped giving it to him and he got better after giving him a regular elm shoe. I decided to try again, thinking it was just a coincidence, but it happened again. He had terrible diarrhea when I tried giving it to him the second time. His diarrhea has never been this bad, even with IBD. In my case, this thing only made things worse. I read other reviews and saw that other people had the same problem. I'm not sure which ingredient is causing the problem. Anyway, if this causes problems for your dog, try regular slippery elm. Digestive enzymes and a homemade diet also helped my dog.
