This forest animal felt kit was very easy and simple. The fabric used was quite soft on the hands and my son was very proud of the little animal he made. My personal favorite was the inclusion of child-safe needles for little hands to work with animals. So far I have completed three animals (owl, squirrel and fox) with my son (3 years old). Aside from the squirrel, he really could help a lot of them sew and build. The box itself is very clear and easy to use. Keep track of each animal arriving in sacks so all the pieces are together so nobody has to dig anything up.
