My Lenovo system was telling me that my original battery was only holding 60% of its original capacity. I could hardly get through a few hours without needing to charge. Before installing this new battery, I tested my old battery setting my system to max brightness and playing a looping YouTube video, and it ran for about 4 hours. Then I replaced the battery, which was very easy, and used the Lenovo vantage tool to calibrate the new battery by charging to 100% and then discharging to 0 and then charging back to 100%. Then I reran the max brightness looping YouTube test and it ran for 6.5 hours. The real life impact is that previously my x1 would die in the middle of the day and now it lasts all day long.I was a bit worried about buying a battery from a brand I didn't recognize but this one seems to be very good.
