☂️ Light up Rainy Nights with the M² Lightweight Windproof Umbrella Flashlight Review

Received this today and was dying to try it. Everything worked as advertised until a strong gust of wind turned it upside down. Apparently fiberglass ribs at the ends only. The internal ribs are metal with a series of rivet springs that burst in a strong gust of wind. If you want a truly windproof umbrella, all you need is a double canopy, even if it's a lot bigger.

I have literally never used this umbrella - only opened/closed it a few times after receiving it. The first time I really needed it - it opened but wouldn't stay on and the auto close doesn't seem to work unless it locks in the open position. (I loved fixing a wet but useless umbrella during a downpour and then closing it while holding everything else down.) The concept of this umbrella is great, but the reality disappointed me.

Many years ago I had a flashlight umbrella and when it broke I looked for a replacement but couldn't find it. When I saw this product I ordered and WOW what an improvement! This is such a well made product. Beautifully built with LED lighting which I love at night. Whether I'm walking in the rain in the evening and need some light or need to find something on my map, the LED light is a very nice feature. Well, I just took the train into town and I needed an umbrella. The product arrived quickly, which is good because it rained for the next two days! I was impressed by the umbrella - stayed dry as expected, but best of all it withstood gusts of wind in downtown Chicago - and didn't deteriorate when turned inside out. The paws are made of plastic, so they can be easily inserted! Highly recommended if you are struggling with wind and not just rain. The light is decent - haven't had to use it yet…

This is a very high quality umbrella. The design of this umbrella is excellent. The main feature of this umbrella is that it is a cross between an umbrella and a flashlight. It seems silly to worry about an umbrella, but I have to say that this umbrella has become one of my favorite things. It works perfectly and the light at the end confirms the deal.
