I wasn't sure it was worth spending $200 on a docking station for my old (mid 2014) Macbook Pro but I am very glad i did it. We've been using it for almost 2 months with no problems. Yes, it's plastic, but it's secure and I can still use my Macbook (with dock included) on the laptop stand. It does its job perfectly: I no longer have to plug and unplug 2 external monitors, headphones, keyboard, mouse and power every time I want to take my laptop from the home office and use it somewhere else. I simply open the lever on the back, unplug the second monitor cable and headphone jack, and that's it. Everything else remains connected to the back of the jetty. Very happy with my purchase.
