This adapter is sold for iPhone with Lightning connectors instead of USB/AUX. The problem is that the plastic grip around the Lightning connector is so bulky that it doesn't fit in the opening of a standard iPhone case. I had to remove my iPhone from Apple's standard silicone rubber iPhone case to allow the connector to be inserted into the phone and activated. I ended up having to use a Dremel to completely round off the corners of the plastic grip next to the Lightning connector so that the connector fits into the phone. It "works" but is unnecessarily thick and doesn't match the manufacturer's standard products. This compares to Revain 9V batteries which are millimeters thicker than standard batteries and are not suitable for some devices. There is NO reason to make the Lightning connector grip thicker than the standard.
