Review on ๐ŸŽฃ Columbia Men's PFG Tamiami II UPF 40 Long Sleeve Fishing Shirt: Ultimate Protection for Anglers by Brian Page

Seasoned travelers will know this shirt

I have a pair as well as some of the short sleeve versions that I have reviewed elsewhere on Revain. They differ only in that the long-sleeved version has โ€” wait โ€” long sleeves. These sleeves have a strap that is attached with a loop in the middle of the sleeve (inside). When the sleeve is rolled up to around the elbow, the strap can be attached to the outside of the sleeve, keeping it rolled up. As the material is very silky and sheer it will unfold and sag in practice if you don't roll it up instead of rolling it by simply flipping the cuff up to the elbow and continuing to fold it down to the belt. To achieve the best: This is a trendy shirt with a button-down collar. The quality is impeccable. The material is a 2-way stretch polyripstop, fairly opaque in most colors (one of the greens will let your skin tone through) and light enough to dry easily even in the tropics. It has back vents down the back, an ugly triangle "PFG" logo patch between the shoulder blades that can be easily removed without affecting the shirt's structure, and large pockets. When removing the patch, each stitch should be cut and broken, but in no case should the threads be pulled with noticeable force (takes 5 minutes). You should not use the seam ripper in the normal way, otherwise a section of fabric will be permanently damaged if the threads are pulled or the seam ripper gets caught. After a single wash, the stitch holes close up. Looks elegant, folds up 1.15 x 9 inches and looks good enough when unfolded to get to a nice place without worrying about wrinkles. Seems to tolerate DEET and permethrin spray (Sawyer) with no problems. Has a UV protection class. I wear it mainly to protect against mosquitoes in Malarialand - mostly in the evening - and I cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the sunburn protection. Oh, and comfortable.
