I need a backpack because my shoulder hurts when I carry a crossbody bag. I have searched long and hard for a backpack bag that is relatively theft proof as I often commute to work on the busy New York City subway. This bag is just the thing. I find it almost impossible for a thief to open this bag while it's on my back due to the way it's styled (of course I don't put valuables in the outside pocket). My bag arrived in perfect condition, all zippers worked well etc. I've worn it on the New York subway for the past few days and it's held up well. This bag is definitely worth the price. The only downside is that this bag doesn't look like leather in my opinion - it looks like some sort of synthetic but not bad and certainly not bad for the money. The daughter also said that the bag does not look like leather. However, this is the best bag for me considering my needs and budget.
