My wife and I really wanted to like this product but it is not suitable for carpets. The vacuum cleaner is undoubtedly very beautiful and durable. It looks durable and expensive, everything in the assembly fits very tight and clean, no dangling parts. On bare/hardwood floors the vacuum is great and picks up almost everything and the brush really helps on these floors. I was expecting much better performance on carpet than what I got. Vacuuming one spot multiple times didn't pick up lint from the surface and I actually had to bend down to pick it up, although other surface dirt was fine. As a test, I vacuumed the carpet in my bedroom twice with this vacuum cleaner and collected a lot of dirt. The floor looked clean. I then immediately went back to the floor with the Bissell rack we've had for several years and it picked up at least the same amount of dirt in one pass, which I can only assume was deeper in the carpet than Nequare . This one swings back and sticks to an upright post that can work with carpets and hardwoods.
