Beautiful retro-modern watch. I remember thinking as a kid how cool a calculator watch would be. Smart watches of this era. Found this by accident while looking for other watches and considering the affordable price I thought it would be cool enough to buy with a small risk. It definitely has a retro-modern look, a classic Casio calculator in a modern color scheme. Sitting on your wrist this is a lovely trendy little watch. Unfortunately, these two things also add to its shortcomings. Retro means it has a small digital screen which would be fine if it wasn't updated, they also made it a negative display. And the not so high-quality negative display (which probably contributes to the great price). This makes the screen harder to read at a glance than I expected. I have other negative display digital watches and rarely see them as they usually have large displays, plus I have regular smaller digital displays that are easy to read. Don't get me wrong, you can still tell the time in sub-par lighting, but it's rarely a quick glance. This is a look at the times and sometimes the right angle of illumination. What comes to the second minus, which I did not expect, which is the lack of light? If you want to update this watch and add this negative display, can't you add a backlight function? If it had a Casio EL, it would completely eliminate the negative display issue, albeit at the cost of battery life and a slightly higher price. But I think it would be worth making the watch a lot better and still selling well. The rest of the watch is as expected, the buttons are small like the original but responsive. It looks really cool. Bottom line if you are looking for cool looking retro yet modern wrist wear. It is absolutely worth the price. If you're looking for a simple and cheap timepiece with some extra features, Casio can still help you, but not with this watch.
