Review on MAXXIS Ardent Race 3C TR Folding Tire: Next-Level Performance and Versatility by Bruce Garner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ardent Race 3c rear tires are excellent in terms of grip and traction

Ardent Race 3c rear tires are excellent in terms of grip and traction. If he leans down feeling like he's about to slide out, he won't slide out. Raised and offset corner lugs, you can definitely feel them digging as you lean forward. Climbing grip compared to Fast Trak earlier, I could sometimes run over the tire once or twice while turning. Today the tire gave no power to my legs and kept lifting the front on steep climbs. It feels a little heavier than the Specialized Fast Trak, but if you also need traction when leaning into soft or maybe free turns, it digs. Spesh slips a little. I considered trying rear ground control but gave it a try. I'm very happy at the moment. I will update this review after a few more trips in different conditions. Mud tires are definitely not.
