Review on ⚡️ Schumacher Solar Charge Controller 12V - Optimize Lead-Acid Batteries and Solar Panel Performance by Frank Webster
Pay attention to the polarity of the plugs.
Like the others, I had to change the polarity of the connector to match the solar panel. Not sure what Schumacher was thinking as the instructions even show the reverse connection of the SAE. (Black on + Red on -) Thank goodness screws were used to assemble the case. I suspect some of the negative reviews are due to not paying attention to polarity and assuming the SAE connectors for their solar panel were properly soldered to the PCB.
