Make sure it's in the charger.
Received it and started using it immediately. Set up and start charging, red light. Remains red for many hours. I was then curious as to why it took more than 4 hours for it to turn green. Then I touched it and saw the light turn green. I took out the battery and it works great in a flashlight. Maybe it was charging and turning green and I wasn't there to catch that part. For that I give four stars.
