I bought this phone to replace my Polycom IP550 phone but 30 minutes after contacting my VOIP provider (RingCentral) support I was told it was not a VOIP phone. This device, which I can't call a "phone", is simply a speaker and microphone for your computer. It seems pretty expensive for such basic features. The device does not have its own IP address, therefore it cannot be used as a VOIP phone (your computer must be on and the softphone app must be running 24/7 to receive calls on this device. If your computer is switched off, the device is just a piece of plastic lying on your table). It also works with my iPhone, but there are much cheaper and more compact headsets for the iPhone.
