Toxic Chemical Smell

They are cute but I couldn't get rid of the strong chemical smell. I got a headache as soon as I opened the package. I've washed them several times and soaked them in vinegar to see if it neutralizes the odor. I hung them outside to air for over a week. They STILL smelled like a toxic chemical smell. They cannot be safely applied to a child's face. Who knows what they will inhale.
