Thought this would be a fun tool in my kitchen for probably four years. I figured I could use this to peel tomatoes instead of putting tomatoes in boiling water and then ice water. I was right for those early years, but then a major change in chores in the kitchen: how to peel fluffy skins off fresh peaches. Wow! It even works with the bruises on these peaches. More peaches were saved for pies and just food. If you love peaches and have noticed that most peachy colored peaches are covered in fluffy skins with a disgusting taste, you will love this tool. Ohio's best native peaches are fuzzy and emerge in late summer. Now we go through half a dozen straight from the farmers market every week. The tastiest peach desserts and easy peaches now that I can peel off those fluffy skins. And even with the softest peaches, the peeler only picks the skin, not the fruit.
