This was my first experience with henna. I wanted to highlight my shade and tidy up my hair and this henna served both purposes. My curls were so soft! I felt like a new woman! The image in the yellow shirt is henna, which is applied to all clothing before rinsing. The downside was the mess and rinsing process. Definitely wear gloves! I don't mind the skin discoloration that comes from henna, but some people might. I added chamomile tea (to bring out highlights), amla oil and black castor oil for extra moisture, followed by a deep conditioner. The color wasn't as vibrant as I had hoped, but the color that showed lasted about a month. I will continue to use this product in the future but only every 3-6 months depending on fade time.
